Team pictures and the annual Hit A Thon are held at Optimist park.
Donation collection and participation packets are provided to each team 45 days prior to the big event.

Friends and family are invited every year to raise funds and join us for a home run derby, lunch at the park, and picture day for registered athletes. Our biggest fundraiser of the year, this event helps raise money for large infrastructure and equipment purchases and needs for both Optimist and South Park fields.

Every Little Leaguer who raises funds can participate in the Home Run Derby!

Home Run Derby Winners:
for every $10 collected in donations, you get 1 chance at bat! (limit to 10 at-bats).

But wait, there’s more!
Raising more funds gets you in for MORE PRIZES!
Raffle Prizes: for every additional $20 raised over $100, you will get entered in for raffle drawings!

Division Winners:
Prizes awarded for division top fundraisers, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!
A minimum of $75 must be raised to be eligible for Division prizes.

Team Winners:
The team to raise the most money will receive tickets to see the Mustangs play! Every team that exceeds $1,000 gets a pizza party.

League Winners:
The Little Leaguers who raise the most money in the league will receive  GRAND PRIZES!
Visa Gift Cards, for 1st place ($250), 2nd place ($200), and 3rd place ($150)

Little Leaguers unable to attend the event are still eligible to win Division, Team, and League prizes.

Home Run Royalty! Grown ups can compete too :)
Coaches, parents, and grandparents can pay to play! $10 per hit, max 10 hits.
Trophies awarded to the King and Queen of swat with the furthest hits!
Funds raised will count towards your team totals!

2022, we set and conquered some BIG goals, thanks to all of our little leaguers and their friends and family!

The 2021 Hit A Thon was a huge success and we are BLOWN away!
Our goal was $19,000, and we are wowed by the hard work of these kiddos, and the love and support for our league from all of the parents, family, friends, and neighbors who contributed!

Not only did we raise $24,740.27, but here's some other cool totals!

- 130 Little Leaguer's participated in this year's fundraising.
- 97 players raised more than $100.
- 5 players raised more than $500.
- 2 players raised $1,000 or more!
- 15 out of 20 teams raised more than a $1,000 and earned a pizza party!
- 525 raffle tickets were earned, and we gave out 14 raffle prizes.
- We estimate around 1,000 at bats were hit during the big event.
